We are a small, independent bakery in Vienna’s second district, specialising in home-baking. Our cakes and desserts are well-known in the English-speaking world and we are happy to give them a home in Vienna.
We bake everything on-site with care and love.
We use quality, local ingredients where possible, and always use free-range eggs. If there is a certain product of ours that you wish to try, let us know when you’re going to drop in, and we’ll do our best to have it available for you on that day.

Our options for gluten-free cakes are limited to Pavlova, Triple Chocolate Mousse and Brownies
On a day-to-day basis, the only lactose-free cakes are our small vegan carrot buns. A small selection of cakes can be pre-ordered lactose-free, please order two weeks in advance.
Two weeks in advance is preferable for custom orders to avoid disappointment. On occasion, we can take orders at short notice.
On a day-to-day basis we have small carrot buns. For full cakes we can offer carrot cake without any topping, or chocolate raspberry cake.

While we like to use organic where we can, it’s unfortunately not in our budget to use only organic ingredients. We buy local, Austrian products where possible, and our eggs are delivered fresh each week from a free-range farm in Lower Austria.
No, we don’t offer delivery, unfortunately it would be too expensive to have a staff member just for a few deliveries. We also don’t send our cakes with delivery bikes as there would be too much risk of the cake being damaged on the way.
Payment on collection is fine. Partial or full payment can also be done if you order in person. We accept both cash and card, cash is always preferable as it helps us with cash flow, and helps us avoid processing charges.
No, we don’t sell by the weight as all cakes weigh differently and weight changes depending on filling and topping. We sell our cakes in a range of portion sizes.
No, we don’t do any cakes without sugar. We believe you should enjoy your sweet treats in moderation. If you’re going to eat cake, make sure it’s worth it!
Yes we do. We like to keep our prices down so we don’t offer tastings, nor delivery. A 45-60 minute consultation with one of our bakers costs €50. We’re happy to help you plan the cake for your special day
